In 1980, Dr. Baker joined the staff of Wheaton Orthopaedics and in 1986 was instrumental in developing the SportsMed center for Fitness, one of the first medically-integrated fitness centers in the United States. He has provided on-the-field medical care for several local high school football teams and served as the team physician for Wheaton College for ten years. Dr. Baker has been board certified since 1981 and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He also holds membership in the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the International Arthroscopy Association. Dr. Baker serves on the Board of Directors of Doctors on Call for Service (DOCS), an organization that links U.S. volunteer physicians with African national physicians to share medical techniques and experience for the betterment of African health care. He has done clinical and operative orthopaedic teaching in Congo, Africa. Education

Richard E. Erickson, M.D.
Dr. Erickson's practice is concentrated in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He has served as team physician to Naperville Central and Naperville North High Schools for over ten years. Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Erickson is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Illinois Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. In addition to his orthopaedic practice, Dr. Erickson is also on the Board of Directors for the SportsMed center for Fitness in Carol Stream. Integrating fitness programs and athletic training with medically-sound principles is a hallmark of this unique facility. Dr. Erickson was born and raised in the Chicago area, and has a long standing involvement in sports both as a participant and coach. He played soccer and ice hockey in college, and was named Most Valuable Player in the NCAA Championship College Division. He coached soccer and ice hockey at Wheaton College, and holds a national soccer coaching license. Education

Kellen K. Choi, M.D.
Kellen K. Choi, M.D., was raised in the north suburbs of Chicago where he attended Northwestern University in Evanston. Dr. Choi earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago where he also completed his general surgical internship and orthopaedic surgery residency. He went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. During this time he was an assistant team physician for the Boston Celtics and an associate clinical instructor at Tufts University. Dr. Choi joined SportsMed-Wheaton Orthopaedics in 2003. He currently specializes in sports medicine, including arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. He is eligible for board certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a candidate member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He is also an instructor at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Learning center in Rosemont, IL. In his leisure time, Dr. Choi enjoys the outdoors and athletic activities including basketball, tennis, golf, skiing, and fishing. Education

Jennifer M. Felske, D.P.M.
Dr. Felske graduated from Wheaton College (Illinois) with a degree in exercise physiology. After receiving her degree as a doctor of podiatric medicine, she completed general and surgical podiatric residencies at Cook County Hospital and Norwegian-American Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Felske joined SportsMed-Wheaton Orthopaedics in 1999. Board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, she is also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Her interests include Sports Medicine conditions, as well as fractures, bunions, hammertoe, diabetic foot care, and other foot and ankle problems. She especially enjoys treating athletes of all ages and has a special interest in running-related injuries. Growing up in a family of physicians who were also very involved in athletics fostered her interest in medicine and physical activity. Dr. Felske was a competitive basketball player and runner throughout college and continues to participate in road races from 5K's to half-marathons. She is setting her sights on triathlon competition. She also enjoys reading, traveling and golf. Dr. Felske is active in medical-ministry service. She lives in Wheaton with her husband, Pete, who is the women?s soccer and softball coach at Wheaton College. They attend Blanchard Road Alliance Church. Education
