In 1980, Dr. Baker joined the staff of Wheaton Orthopaedics and in 1986 was instrumental in developing the SportsMed center for Fitness, one of the first medically-integrated fitness centers in the United States. He has provided on-the-field medical care for several local high school football teams and served as the team physician for Wheaton College for ten years. Dr. Baker has been board certified since 1981 and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He also holds membership in the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the International Arthroscopy Association. Dr. Baker serves on the Board of Directors of Doctors on Call for Service (DOCS), an organization that links U.S. volunteer physicians with African national physicians to share medical techniques and experience for the betterment of African health care. He has done clinical and operative orthopaedic teaching in Congo, Africa. Education

Richard E. Erickson, M.D.
Dr. Erickson's practice is concentrated in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He has served as team physician to Naperville Central and Naperville North High Schools for over ten years. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Erickson was born and raised in the Chicago area and has a long standing involvement in sports both as a participant and coach. He played soccer and ice hockey in college and was named Most Valuable Player in the NCAA Championship College Division. He coached soccer and ice hockey at Wheaton College and holds a national soccer coaching license. Education

Kellen K. Choi, M.D.
Dr. Kellen Choi is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder disorders. He was raised in the north suburbs of Chicago where he earned his Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Evanston. He subsequently earned his medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University of Chicago. He continued his training at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University where he completed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency. Dr. Choi went on to receive fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. During his fellowship, he served as assistant team physician for the Boston Celtics and associate clinical instructor at Tufts University Medical School. Dr. Choi joined SportsMed -Wheaton Orthopaedics in 2003. He currently specializes in sports medicine, including arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. Dr. Choi also serves jointly with Dr. Erickson as assistant physician for the Naperville North and Central Varsity High School football teams. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He has also served as a surgical instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Education

Jennifer M. Felske, D.P.M.
Dr. Felske graduated from Wheaton College (Illinois) with a degree in exercise physiology. After receiving her degree as a doctor of podiatric medicine, she completed general and surgical podiatric residencies at Cook County Hospital and Norwegian-American Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Felske joined SportsMed-Wheaton Orthopaedics in 1999 and is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Her interests include Sports Medicine conditions, as well as fractures, bunions, hammertoe, diabetic foot care, and other foot and ankle problems. She especially enjoys treating athletes of all ages and has a special interest in running-related injuries. Growing up in a family of physicians who were also very involved in athletics fostered her interest in medicine and physical activity. Dr. Felske was a competitive basketball player and runner throughout college and continues to participate in road races from 5K's to half-marathons. She is setting her sights on triathlon competition. She also enjoys reading, traveling and golf. Dr. Felske is active in medical-ministry service. She lives in Wheaton with her husband, Pete, who is the women's soccer and softball coach at Wheaton College. Education
